بسبب ضعف التصريف اللمفاوي، لا يمكن تصريف السائل اللمفاوي في الأنسجة، وبالتالي يحدث تورم (وذمة) في الأنسجة الرخوة تحت الجلد حيث يتراكم السائل اللمفاوي في الأنسجة.
علاج وذمة لمفية
يساعد تدفق الليمفاوية عن طريق التدليك اليدوي. يتم تطبيق الضمادة. يتم تنفيذ العناية بالبشرة. يحتاج المريض إلى اتباع نظام غذائي وممارسة الرياضة. يطلب من ارتداء ملابس مثل القفازات والأكمام والجوارب في المنطقة المصابة.
