Umbilical Granuloma وهو نسيج شفاء مفرط الإنتاج (التحبيب) يتطور في موقع الشفاء بعد قطع الحبل السري. لا يتعلق الأمر بالتوقيت والطريقة التي تم بها قطع السرة.
تظهر بعد 1-2 أسابيع من سقوط السرة، مع نمو أحمر للأنسجة في السرة مع إفرازات صفراء، يتراوح حجمها من 1 مم إلى 1-2 سم.
الورم الحبيبي عبارة عن كتل من الخلايا تتكون من خلايا وأوعية شبكية ولا تحتوي على أنسجة عصبية. وبالتالي فهي ليست مؤلمة لإزالة.
